'Albert' Armchair by Finn Østergaard for Kvist Møbler, 1970

A beautiful example of the woodbending technique that gives so much character and form to Scandinavian woodwork.  This technique, here applied to beech, strengthens the piece and allows for the soaring curves. The fabric is a lattice woven heavy canvas.

Chairs are in an excellent used condition. The canvas and wooden frame have slight imperfections and signs of wear common for pieces of this age, we believe this gives the chair character and adds to the value of the piece.
