Known as the PH lamp, Danish writer, designer and architect Poul Henningsen created the iconic PH 5 design in 1958. Based on the renowned three-shade system, the pyramid-like fixture diffuses both descending and lateral light to illuminate itself. Created in response to incandescent bulbs of the time, the pendant ensures the light is soft, rich and completely glare-free. The iconic PH 5 pendant lamp quickly became popular in Denmark, used in public buildings and private homes of which remains a design favourite of today.
Providing a soft light and almost golden hour like hue. This fixture’s design transcends time and place making it a perfect addition to a dining room, hallway or kitchen space.
Only one available in a rare colour way, there are very few marks of wear and tear due to its proximity of previous use.
