M1 Coffee Table Frosted Glass by Hank Kwint, 1980s

This timeless coffee table is the iconic M1 design by Hank Kwint for Metaform based in Holland. 

Striking in its geometry with the thick glass table top seems as though it is floating. The sturdy steel frame portrays a sense of lightness, with its bifurcated legs and exposed bolts. The incredibly clean lines and the clarity of the glass are beautiful exemplars of 1980's Dutch minimalism.
