We have a pair of these timeless Halabala armchairs, model H-410. Originally manufactured in the 1930s these chairs have been recently restored and reupholstered in white boucle.
The sturdy bent beechwood arms perfectly frame the comfortable seat, the fresh white fabrication adding a lightness to the classic form.

Jindřich Halabala was the chief designer of the UP production firm, overseeing their approach to furniture creation as it became the biggest furniture company in what was then Czechoslovakia. His foundational learning in his fathers factory and his tutelage under the leader of the Czech Cubist movement informed his functional yet beautiful designs.
