These chairs were designed by Mart Stan and manufactured by Thonet in Denmark in the 1960s. Thonet began designing cantilevered tubular steel in the years before the iconic Bauhaus design. These chairs are in excellent condition. The beech wood and tubular steel has very few marks of wear common for pieces of this age. We believe this adds to the character and overall value of the piece.
